A few important reminders for the week…
If you live in California, please remember to vote in the recall election! September 14 — that’s Tuesday — is the last day to drop off your ballot, vote in person, or get that baby postmarked.
The next quarterly estimated tax payment deadline for the 2021 tax year is coming up on September 15 — that’s Thursday. If you run a freelance business, send in those payments (and you might want to be aware of these interesting freelancer biz developments, too).
Be nice to everyone and keep your mask up over your nose.

Love Letter To…
Sure, I might be klutzier than the average person (I have other virtues), but I’d like to know how anyone out there operates an iPhone without a ring on the case. Used without something to grip, an iPhone is slicker than an oiled-up dolphin. (Specifically, a $1,000 oily dolphin carrying literally everything you need to function.)
I bought this exact $8 five-pack of these exact stick-on iPhone rings (I’ve gone through most of them by now because I ditch one if the joint starts to feel loose) and my cost per usage is too small to be measured. Obsessed. This is a brilliant invention.
