Back in the saddle

It’s my twins’ spring break and my family was lucky to spend a few epic days at the exquisite Resort at Paws Up in Montana. My kids saw falling snow for only the second time and it got down to 8 degrees! We rode horses to a sparkling river, revved ATVs through a herd of bison (!!), drove go-Karts along a picturesque track (the highlight for my kids). And we practiced our wilderness skills with a spot of knife throwing. (Turns out I am excellent at this, but I will not quit my day job.)
Then it was time to fly home and yesterday quickly devolved into a nightmarish travel day. There were delays and cancellations and hours engaged with customer service via chat, Twitter DM, and phone. I’ll spare you the details mostly because I am too tired to relive them; we got back home in L.A. close to 3 am Montana time. But hey, we made it. (And the airline is supposed to be awarding compensation to the tune of $800, so that’s something.)
Before everyone moves on to Passover and Good Friday and Easter and all the fun stuff (am I too late?!), a couple of time-sensitive calls for pitches below.
