I keep writing and striking this lede because what do you say to introduce a cute holiday gif when the world is literally on fire, underwater, a minefield of virus exposure, and a festering patriarchy unconcerned with its screaming hypocrisy?
That said, I’ve always loved a new year as a time to take stock and set intentions, to try to let go of what no longer serves, and to embrace hopes for new beginnings. To that end, whether or not you observe, here’s to sweet, healthy, joyful, and abundant days ahead.
I’m grateful for this exciting and gratifying profession and for all of the meaningful, enduring relationships I’ve forged with you throughout it all. Thank you for your friendship and partnership!

Open Press Opportunities
Just a note that any opportunity you see in this newsletter is still open and I’m still actively seeking pitches.
I’m rounding up the best hotels in California’s Napa Valley.
I’m working on a variety of roundups featuring new venues in each of the following three regions: Las Vegas, Scottsdale/Phoenix, and San Diego. These venues should be new within the last six months and available for event booking (hotels, restaurants, lounges, activity venues, spas, and more). Please include with your pitch a link to interior photos as well as capacity information for full or partial buyout of the space.
