It's a mood
A good one!
TGIF! I’m feeling pretty festive. It actually rained this week — an electrical storm dramatic enough to trigger a weather delay for the Monday Night Football game in Los Angeles. (Every part of that sentence was weird, but the world is upside down so it checks out.)
Chalk it up to the crisper weather, my Trader Joe’s cinnamon broom (obsessed), or all of this jolly holiday content I’m working on, but I’m in the fall spirit.
Like many of us at this time of year, I’m finding myself ultra-slammed at work, but I’m glad for that. My work is my anchor amid uncertain circumstances (aka: dystopia), my connection to this vibrant community, and the revenue stream that supports my nail art habit. What can I say? I love my job.
In order to make sure I’m striking a balance, I’m thinking about making a seasonal bucket list (go to the pumpkin patch, build those cookie haunted houses, trick or treat with the kids). Does anyone else do this? I’d love to hear any little joy-boosting life hacks.
