New stories and new jobs galore!
We are about a week out from the 4th of July holiday, which means we are about two days out from the torrent of OOOs and generally checked-out people. Right after the holiday, I’m also leaving for Japan.
This trip is primarily my annual family vacation (I’m always trying to be out of town on my birthday to stave off any potential existential dread) — but naturally, I have already pitched multiple stories around it and landed two. That is to say that I intend to take about two weeks off work…
…and that means I definitely cannot give in to holiday slacking just yet! Several stories — including several newly assigned ones — to file before then.
