When HGG mania meets holiday-itis

TGIF!

It’s pushing 90 degrees in Los Angeles today, which hardly screams “winter holidays.” But somehow they are very much now upon us — especially for those of us who wrangle holiday gift guides. It’s full steam ahead!

And because Hanukkah falls just a few weeks after Halloween this year (and starts merely days after Thanksgiving), there’s very much a go-go-go feeling in the air.

I’m over here trying to stave off the creeping sense of holiday-itis that makes me want to hit The Grove for a new dress for my quick trip to Las Vegas next week, instead of stay here plugging away in Google Docs and CMS. But hey, it’s Friday — so I sense a bit of both in my cards this afternoon!

Wishing everyone a restorative weekend… and a 48-hour reprieve from gift guide mania.
