Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Mine started off with an epic mommy-and-me date with my daughter thanks to Lip Lab and American Girl at Westfield Century City. (I assure you I was not blending my own lip gloss or getting my hair and nails done when I was 9 years old. I was also wearing my boy cousins’ hand-me-downs because Guess jeans were marked up for suckers, and my mom didn’t play that.)

We followed that right up by a Jazz at Lacma concert with a big group of friends (summer bucket list: check).

We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating all the wonderful dads in my life: my husband, my dad, and my father in law. And also futilely attempting to corral my kids, who are already feral with summer mania and a lack of schedule. Cut to my joy (and relief) dropping them off for their first day of summer camp this morning so I can dig into work uninterrupted!
