My two minutes of fame
Welcome back after the MLK holiday! I hope everyone enjoyed some time for service, reflection, and/or R&R.
Inevitably, my husband tested positive for Covid; just like with our summer vacation, symptoms appeared 1.5 days after traveling through airports (in a mask). Please cross some fingers that my children and I remain negative, in particular since they already missed four days of school due to the whole cancelled-flight situation.
On that subject, my news segment on NBC Los Angeles is now live online here should anyone want to catch my two minutes of fame. It’s sort of meta when you’re part of the story in a different way from which you’re accustomed.

I’m working on my first piece covering family travel for BabyCenter. This piece will round up the best all-inclusive family resorts, and I’d like to include a range of locations and price points. The content will focus on ideas for babies and younger children (versus teenagers). Open to pitches with relevant supporting details.
