One more new query — and lots more jobs — before I go

Well, it’s been a long (short) week, with a feverish kid and all the parental sleep deprivation that goes along with that. (Gulping down Emergen-C and hoping it doesn’t take me out, too.)

Nevertheless, it seems I will squeeze in at least another newsletter before that big Fiji press trip next week — and here it is!

I’m sourcing pitches for a new Travel + Leisure story below. And there are also some new job opportunities to browse, including a cherry new senior leadership role at Modern Currency PR, which has epic clients in luxury travel, culinary, hospitality, and lifestyle. It also happens to be helmed by one of my favorite people in the business, Meghan Patke, with whom I’ll be traveling next week. (Good luck — this is a truly great gig!)

Tools of the trade

• I’m obsessed with the game-changing platform Otter.ai. I use it to both record interviews and also to transcribe them in real time.
